OneMain Financial first appeared on the racing scene as an associate sponsor in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 2004, as CitiFinancial. The sponsorship grew to a partial NASCAR Nationwide schedule in 2005 and a then to a full time NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule in 2006 through 2009. The sponsorship shifted to a part time Xfinity Series schedule in 2010, but returned to a full schedule on the No. 2 OneMain Racing Chevrolet Impala for the 2011-12 race seasons. In 2013 and 2014, the team joined Joe Gibbs Racing to pilot the No. 11 OneMain Financial Toyota. The team partnered with Roush Fenway Racing in 2015, with Elliott Sadler behind the wheel. This season, Sadler and the OneMain Racing team are thrilled to work with team owners Kelley and Dale Earnhardt Jr., at JR Motorsports, competing for the Xfinity Series Championship.
