Our employees support the communities
where they live and work.

We're not just in your neighborhood, we're part of your community. These are the places our employees call home. That's why we're all committed to helping make our communities better.

Our employees are involved in a wide range of efforts. They share their time and expertise by volunteering with local programs and taking on leadership roles with community organizations in their hometowns and nationally. Both our employees and our company also provide financial support for national and local non-profits that play a vital role in building strong communities.

Tell us what's important to you.

Is your passion serving meals to neighbours in need? Do you support your local animal shelter? Do you volunteer to help adults build their literacy skills or encourage kids to stay on the right path with after school programs?

There are almost as many ways to help build strong, healthy communities as there are people in your community. We want to know what causes are important to you. If there's an organizations or event you'd like to ask us to support, like your local rec football team, a neighbourhood food pantry or an area festival, just stop by your local branch manager. You can also email us your ideas.

Community Involvement by the Numbers

From local 5K races to state fairs, OneMain sponsored more than 900 events and activities across the country in 2015.
We invested more than $1 million in local communities this year.
Over 98% of our branches sponsored one or more events in their community.

We're committed to helping our neighbours build a brighter financial future.

We believe in giving back to the communities where our employees live and work. Since our company first opened its doors in 1912, we've supported national and local non-profit programs dedicated to creating economic opportunity for all our neighbors. That support remains strong today.

We contribute to more than 50 non-profit organizations and support their mission of giving people of all ages the skills, knowledge and opportunities they need to advance their economic status and build a more secure financial future.

Here are some of the types of programs we support:

Financial education to help low income community college students develop the money management skills they'll use throughout their lives.
Career readiness and financial education skills classes at urban charter schools
Financial stability initiatives that provide state officials with the tools and data needed to create programs for working familier who earn less than the basic cost of living.
Scholorships for community college students so they can finish their education and gain the skills they need to get a good job
