Karen Mooney
Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer
Karen Mooney is Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at OneMain Financial, where she is responsible for the people functions of the company’s more than 9,000 team members. She oversees OneMain’s talent acquisition, leadership development, compensation, benefits and employee relations teams.
Before joining OneMain in June 2025, Karen led human resources in North America at Mondelez International for over 20,000 employees. Under her leadership the HR function transformed into a strategic partner for the business by strengthening recruitment and talent management and producing measurable growth in employee experience.
Prior to Mondelez, Karen was Chief Human Resources Officer at Keystone Foods, where she led the team during a period of growth and strategic change. She has also had senior HR roles at The Hershey Company, The Dannon Company and Unilever.
Karen received her Law Degree from Pace University School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Fordham University.
